Two days at sea…back-to-back. We went to several of the lectures. On this cruise there are two individuals who seem all knowing when it comes to Africa. They are giving lectures on a wide range of topics related to Africa.
We are also eating way too much, usually eating with Jim and Phyllis. The evening shows have been good…a magician/comedian, violinist, saxophonist, singers, etc. And Mary keeps working on jigsaw puzzles
On Wednesday the sea was a smooth as glass…no waves and not
even noticeable swells. Sunny and
warm. A perfect time to cruise.
Thursday evening, we had dinner with Jim and Phyllis, Claus and Tara, and Tara’s new friends, Gordon and Shirley from Scotland. Wonderful conversation and great new friends.
The main entertainment of the day was Ray, the cruise director, who sang and did some ventriloquism. He started as an entertainer on the ships and has now been sailing around 50 years. And he as a lovely singing voice.
